Madhya Venal pens a woman's sacrifices

Madhu Kaithapram is directing the film Madhya Venal. Story is by K.U.Mani, script by Anil Mukhathala and lyrics by Kaithapram Viswanathan, Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri and Prasanth Krishna. Camera is by M.J.Radha Krishnan. Under the banner of Surf Night Movies, Jahangir Shams is producing the film.

The story revolves round Sarojini, a house wife, who is a social worker too. Majority of the villagers depend on the Khadi weaving mills for their livelihood. Sarojini too runs a mill. Her husband Kumaran is a political worker. During that period Praveen, an executive from a new generation bank comes to help the villagers. Without any proper documents he lends money to them. Being innocent they do not realize the trick behind Praveen's business.

Sarojini and Kumaran try their level best to make the people understand Praveen's intention. Meanwhile Praveen fakes love for Manikutty, the daughter of Kumaran and Sarojini, since they were against him. The sufferings and sacrifices a woman has to face in the society is brought out very beautifully in the film.

Manoj K.Jayan dons the role of Kumaran and Swetha Menon dons the role of Sarojini. Director Jayaraj's wife Sabitha Jayaraj is also doing an important role in the film. Arun dons the role of Praveen. Niveditha dons the role of Manikutty. Others in the cast include Balachandran Chullikad, Augustin and Irshad.
