Mammootty has no time to attend MIFF

Mammootty who has portrayed the title role in Shaji N Karun's Kutty Shranku was taken by surprise when he was informed that this movie has been selected for screening at the Great Film Section of the Montreal International Film Festival (MIFF) to be held from August 27 to September 7. however when asked whether he would be attending the festival, Mammootty replied in the negative.

Mammootty did express his happiness and said, “Of course, I'm happy because our film has been included in the World Greats section. Since I am busy finishing a film here, I will not be able to attend the festival."

The movie revolves around the life of a boat driver who is married to three different women who themselves are not aware of it. They come across each other only after the death of the central character.
