Mammootty’s Playhouse produces Raavu Maayumpol

Playhouse, the production-distribution firm by superstar Mammootty had released Malayalam movies like Rithu by Shyamaprasad and Kaanakanmani by Akku Akbar. When Rithu turned out to be a profitable venture, Kaanakanmani did not farewell at the box office. It has to be remembered that Rithu features newcomers while Kaankanmani had the backing of strong artistes like Jayaram at its helm. This has been a clear sign that story wins and not the stars.

Mammootty"s Playhouse has now decided to enter into the production domain as well. Playhouse is to produce the Malayalam movie Raavu Maayumpol by director Renjith with none other than Mammootty as the hero. Renjith and Mammootty are bringing forth their movie Paleri Maanikyam to the theatres very soon in November.
