Chaos at Mammootty’s reality show in Dubai

There was complete chaos at the final episode of the reality show 'Mammootty: The Best Actor Award 2009", when it was organized at the Dubai Airport Expo venue by Asianet. The problem occurred when the venue which could just manage to accommodate 7000 people, witnessed nearly 15000 people at a row.

The ardent fans tried to gatecrash into the venue and this culminated in a major stampede and as a result many were injured as well. The 70 security personals could hardly control the inflow and the police was called for. Organizers could hardly control the situation and it was utter chaos and disorder. It has to be remembered that our loving star had innumerable fans not just within the state but also outside his state. The police came and rescued the superstar from his zealous fans.

The television programme is unique in the history of the small screen, where participants have to compete with one another based on the roles essayed by none other than superstar Mammootty. This historic show to be named after a living legend will select the best candidates from the lot for the finals. The biggest bonanza is that he winner gets the privilege to act in the movie which is to be produced by Mammootty"s production house, Play House.
