What do we make out of it when Navya Nair says that you have to make compromises, when you act in languages other than Malayalam and at the next moment refutes that by saying that she has never essayed any sleazy role whatsoever. Well has Navya lost it all or is she too confused to make out what her preferences are?

Navya who has been keeping a low profile in the Malayalam film industry for over a year has finally got the much needed break in the movie Banaras. After Nandanam, Banaras has been the movie which has helped her revive the girl-next-door charm in her.

At an interview when quizzed about her upcoming Malayalam projects, her onscreen experience with Kavya Madhavan and political ideologies, she readily obliged to answer. Candid as she is, she minced no words in revealing her healthy professional competition with Kavya Madhavan. Regarding her political inclinations she openly admitted her ignorance.

The highlight was nothing but her affirmation of the compromises made in other regional languages and her subsequent denial of having done any glamorous role whatsoever. Not only did she boldly defend her claims but also tried to prove them as well. We hope Banaras will fetch her more meaningful offers in her mother tongue.
