Adoor's Oru Pennun Randu Aanum at MIFF

After winning five State awards this year, Adoor Gopalakrishnan's Oru Pennun Randu Aanum is heading for the much revered Munich International Film Festival (MIFF), which is to be conducted from June 26 to July 4. The movie is a sequel to the filmmaker's previous movie Naalu Pennungal. Like the prequel, the sequel is also based on the short stories by Thakazhi Shivasankara Pillai.

At the Germany's largest summer film festival, MIFF, Adoor's movie would be screened thrice and it is said that the director himself has been invited to have a one-to-one interaction with the audience. More than 200 films from many parts of the world will be screened at the festival along with discussions and other interactive sessions
