Prithviraj in Padmakumar's Paathiramanal

Prithviraj, the angry young man of the Malayalam movies is gearing for his next with one of his favourite directors M Padmakumar for the movie Paathiramanal. Written by Babu Janardhanan, Paathiramanal revolves around a saga of revenge and rape.

Jeevan is a private financier whose mother had become mentally challenged ever since his childhood, following a brutal rape by a police constable. His mother delivered a baby girl out of this rape and Jeevan cannot tolerate his step sister. Jeevan later heads for Paathiramanal, Kuttanad to seek the constable and avenge the injustice meted out to his mother.

However he comes across Sara and soon comes to know that she is daughter of the constable who had wrecked havoc in his family. What ensues then, forms the rest of the film. Others in the cast include Manikuttan, Nedumudi Venu, Murali, Salim Kumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu and so on.
