Padmapriya turns a guerrilla militant

Director Hariharan is ready to capture audiences with his latest historical flick Pazhassi Raja. The film, scripted by M.T. Vasudevan Nair and produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Gokulam Films, is based on a documentary called Malabar Emanuel.

The movie will be shot in Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Hindi. Mammootty will be seen playing the lead role. Sarathkumar and Manoj K Vijayan play tough warriors. Kanika and Padmapriya play the female leads.

Kanika acts opposite Mammootty, while Padmapriya plays a guerrilla militant. In the movie, Padmapriya is an ordinary woman who has been trained to fire guns. She leads a group of people in a war against the British. We sure can"t wait to see her in this avatar.
