Paleri Maanikkam: Crime Thriller

Paleri Maanikkam - Oru Paathira kolapathaka Kadha is the novel published in Mathrubhoomi weekly and written by T.P.Rajeeevan. It is a story based on the incident taken place in Paleri in Kozhikode district. The novelist goes deep in search of the truth.

Ranjith got interested on this novel and is on his way to make a cinema Paleri Maanikkam casting Mammootty as the hero and supported by artistes from drama field. The hero of the film arrives right from Delhi to bring out the truth behind the murder and in this search he too tries to make his way of life. Drama artistes will be selected for the film. They would get a chance to join the drama camp of Murali Menon. The selection would be done from that group.
