Pasupathy's debut in Malayalam

Noted actor Pasupathi makes his debut in Malayalam with Vairam, but not as a solo hero, one of the five heroes in the film. Directed by MA Nishad, the others, who share the space with Pasupathi, are Suresh Gopi, Mukesh, Jayasurya and Kalabhavan Mani.

Bhama, Samvrutha and Meera Vasudev play the female leads. The supporting cast include Thilakan, Jagathy, Sai Kumar, KAC Lalitha and Rekha.

The director pens the story and Cherian Kalpakavady, the dialogues and script. N. Siva Rao is the producer and Sanjeev Sankar cranks the camera. M. Jayachandran sets to tune the film.
