Pazhassi Raja's overwhelming advance booking

Malayalam movie Pazhassi Raja by the MT Vasudevan- Hariharan team with Mammootty in the lead role is releasing today (Friday October 16) in as many as 125 screens in Kerala. In the wake of the producers demanding for a hike in the ticket rate and the Government offering a 50% exemption in the tax rate, the movie has got an overwhelming advance booking.

In major cities like Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode, the tickets have been sold out and as per reports, the tickets for the consecutive days Saturday and Sunday is also getting booked. In most of the centers the fans association have grabbed most of the tickets for the first two shows. The duration of the movie is 3 hours 20 minutes.

Another happy occasion has been that the Mammootty fans association has come up with a 550 feet hoarding and along the lines of the adulation in Kollywood, they planning to conduct an elaborate Palabhisekam, Annadanam and Payasam on the first day of release.
