Cairo Festival to showcase Raman

Filmmaker Dr Biju is all jet set to participate in the prestigious Cairo Film Festival, where his Malayalam movie Raman will be showcased. Raman is included in the “Festival of festival" section and this year's edition of the festival will commence on the tenth of November. Dr Biju had made his debut in the film industry through his much acclaimed movie Saira.

Raman produced by U P Rahmathulla features Anoop Chandran in the lead role as a mute villager with Avantika Agarkar playing the lead heroine. The movie deals at length the aftermath of the cultural colonization of developing countries through the lead character and the the lead heroine who comes across as a woman journalist.
