Robinhood fails to win audiences' hearts

Malayalam movie Robinhood by eminent filmmaker Joshy with youngsters like Prithviraj, Jayasurya, Narain and Bhavana in the helm was released with many expectations. The movie which was hailed as one with many novelties and high-tech innovations has however failed to evoke much response. The box office figures have proved to be dull and grim in fact.

Even when crores were spent for the marketing of the film, it seems that the chances of the movie succeeding at the box office in the coming weeks would be graver still. Many have attributed this failure to the perplexing climax and its execution. The ATM robbery and its execution have not been properly dealt with to be understood by the general audience. Prithviraj has been the saving grace of the movie. Therefore it needs to be seen if the film would recover its cost of production and bring a smile across the faces of the makers.
