Kamal to direct Sathyaraj in a Malayalam film

After a gap, Sathyaraj is going to play a role in Malayalam film for veteran director Kamal. The actor will play the role of a military officer who helps hero Dileep in a crucial moment. There are talks that director felt Kamal feels Sathyaraj is a natural performer and his willingness to experiment with different characters made him a natural choice for the role.

The actor will be using his own voice for dubbing. Sathyaraj, who grew up in Coimbatore, knows Malayalam well and delivered a flawless performance in Malabar Police in which he spoke Palakkad slang Malayalam. The actor will donning the role of Periyar once again for a song in Thankar Bachchan"s Kalavadiya Pozhudhugal and will also play Trisha's father in in a Telugu film.
