Shankar finds fans associations important

Shankar Panicker believes in the idea that it is very important to have fan"s associations as he sees it as a key to surviving in the industry. The actor-turned-director is following the Tamil industry closely.

The Keralotsavam 2009 director debuted in films in the early 80s. He feels that he should have listened to his friends" advice to have fans" associations then. He thinks he would have done better as an actor had he heard them then.
