Sreenivasan teams with his Evergreen Heroine

By Super Admin

After the mega hits Udayananu Tharam (2005) and Katha Parayumbol (2007), renowned Malayalam screenwriter, actor, director and producer Sreenivasan once again teams up with South India's 'evergreen heroine' Meena in Katha, Samvidhanam: Kunchacko by veteran director Haridas Kesavan. The shooting the film is already on at the locations of Kottayam and Pala.

Katha, Samvidhanam: Kunchacko revolves around Kunchacko (Sreenivasan), a self-made millionaire. Although illiterate, he can speak seven languages, including English. He is the owner of a private bank, medical college, multiplex supermarket and many other private institutions. Born in a poor family, Kunchacko has a notorious background. He became a business magnate only through cruelty and shrewdness. His reputation is bad, even in his family circles.

He has a large family of brothers, sisters and brother-in-laws (Ganesh, Prem Kumar, Sudhish, Sona Nair and Lakshmi Priya), who try their level best to make Kunchacko a polished man, but in vain. Finally, their parish priest advises them to persuade him to marry. Due to continuous pressure from his family, Kunchacko marries a software engineer Ann Mary (Meena). Whether Kunchacko changes after marriage constitutes the rest of the plot.

The film is scripted by Dennis Joseph. Other cast members include Nedumudi Venu, Siddique, Jagathy, Salim Kumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Indrans, Suresh Krishna, Tony Augustin and others. Sajith Menon handles the camera while M. Jayachandran sets music to lyrics penned by Gireesh Puthencherry. Produced by Manoj Ram Singh under the banner of Marvel Productions, the film is expected to hit theatres soon.
