Mammootty
once
again.
He
has
already
done
two
successful
films
in
Malayalam.
Now,
Adoor-Mammootty
combo's
third
movie
has
reportedly
been
titled
Mathilukalkkappuram.
Sources
claim
that
this
new
film
is
expected
to
start
its
shooting
from
August
2011.
It
is
reported
that
Mathilukalkkappuram
would
be
a
sequel
to
National
Films
Award
winner
movie
Mathilukal,
in
which
Mammootty
has
played
Basheer.
According
to
sources,
The
director
has
revealed
the
news
about
his
pairing
up
with
Mammooka
to
a
popular
magazine.
He
says
that
he
has
always
liked
working
with
Mammootty
and
his
liking
started
ever
since
he
saw
him
first
in
KG
George's
Mela.
"My
new
film
that
would
start
next
year
would
have
Mammootty
in
it," sources
quote
Adoor
as
saying.
However,
Adoor
first
joined
hands
with
Mammootty
for
the
film
Mathilukal
in
1988
and
he
bagged
Best
Director
National
Film
Awards
for
it
while
the
actor
ended
up
winning
Best
Actor
National
Film
and
Filmfare
Awards
for
his
wonderful
performance
in
it.
Their
second
movie
Vidheyan
won
awards
like,
Best
Film
and
Best
Screen
Play
at
Kerala
State
Film
Awards
(KSFA)
in
1993
and
Best
Feature
Film
at
National
Film
Awards
in
1994.
The
director
bagged
KSFA's
Best
Director,
while
Mammootty
won
Best
Actor
National
Film
Awards
for
his
acting
in
it.
