Aishwarya to make acting debut with Veendum Kannur

Singer Aishwarya Muraleedharan, who is also known as a model and dancer, is now all set to make her acting debut. She is said to entering films with the movie Veendum Kannur, which is a sequel to Haridas Kesavan directed 1997 Malayalam movie Kannur.

Kannur, which featured Manoj K Jayan and Vani Viswanath in leads, is a political thriller that created waves in the Mollywood in the year 1997. Along with Robin Thirumala, Haridas Kesavan has now planned to work on its sequel. Tamil actor Bala is said to be playing the hero, while Aishwarya appears in the female lead.

Veendum Kannur is produced by Nasser Thirur under the banner of Caipon Entertainment. Feroz, Kalabhavan Mani, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Jagathy Sreekumar, Janardhanan, Risabava, Mamukkoya and others are in the cast. The film, which will reportedly be shot in New Delhi, Trivandrum and Kannur, is expected to start its shooting very shortly.

However, Aishwarya Muraleedharan has won the Best Singer award in the Gulf Edition of Kairali Channel's 'Gandharva Sangeetham'. She has been selected as Miss Beautiful Smile in the Miss South India contest. Besides this, She has even acted in several plays.
