Aranmula selected for Muthukulam Puraskaram

Veteran actress Aranmula Ponnamma has been selected for the Puraskaram for the year 2010, considering her comprehensive contribution to cinema.

The award, instituted by Samskarika Samithi in memory of the late script writer-lyricist-actor , carries Rs. 10,000 and a citation. Dr. Sukumar Azhikode will present the award in a function at Muthukulam Higher secondary school, near Haripad on August 15, 10 a.m.

M. Gopala Krishnan will preside over the function. The judging committee headed by director M.P. Sukumaran Nair, members P. Padmanabhan and Dr. Suresh Nooranad selected her for the award.
