Musician
M
Jayachandran
and
director
Sasi
Paravoor
have
a
penchant
for
modifying
some
old
songs
for
their
new
films.
They
did
it
for
their
film
Nottam
when
they
brought
back
a
song
from
the
fifties,
'Pachapanamthathe'
and
revamped
it
completely.
This
time,
they"ve
got
the
popular
song
'Prananathan
Enikku
Nalkiya",
which
is
known
for
its
erotic
lyrics
and
for
having
been
banned
by
A.I.R,
for
their
film
Kadaksham.
The
original
song
was
a
part
of
the
film
Enippadikal
and
was
written
by
Irayimman
Thampi.
The
music
was
scored
by
Devarajan
master.
According
to
M
Jayachandran,
the
song
hasn"t
been
remixed
but
has
been
given
an
entirely
different
construction
to
suit
the
tastes
of
contemporary
audiences.
The
song
has
been
sung
by
Chithra.
Kadaksham,
which
stars
Suresh
Gopi
and
Swetha
Vijay,
will
release
its
music
in
the
first
week
of
January.
