Kannur sequel to be titled Kannur Veendum

Kannur, the political thriller that created waves in the Malayalam movie industry in the year 1997, might have its sequel soon.

The film was directed by Haridas Kesavan. It had Manoj K Jayan along with Vani Viswanath in the leading roles. Manoj essayed the role of a Kannur based comrade named Karivallur Sivankutty.

Presently, news has streamed in that Haridas Kesavan and Robin Thirumala are planning to work on the sequel of this movie. It would be entitled Kannur Veendum. The movie would again have Manoj K Jayan in the main role. It"s planned to be shot in locations like New Delhi, Trivandrum and Kannur.

The film also features actors like Vijayakumar, Vijayaraghavan, Bheeman Raghu and Mamukkoya, in addition to Vijayakumar and Risabava. The makers of the film including the cast hope that the sequel would also taste sweet success just like its predecessor.
