Madhu Muttam returns with Kaanakombathu

Malayalam scriptwriter Madhu Muttam, who is famous for writing the script of the 1993 psychological thriller Manichitrathazu, is back with a new project in Mollywood.

The new project is titled Kaanakombathu, to be directed by Mahadevan. Dr. Leela Prasannan will be producing the movie under C B Creations banner.

Newcomers like Deepu Shanth (brother of cricketer Sreeshanth), and Shankar Narayanan will be playing the lead roles in this movie. Veteran actors like Salimkumar, K P A C Lalitha, Nedumudi Venu, Vettukili Prakash and Mani C Kaapan are also in the cast.

Anandhakuttan is the cinematographer and Vayalar Sharath will be writing the lyrics of the songs.

Madhu Muttam has been so successful as a scriptwriter. The only movie that did not do well in his 14 years as a writer was The Bharathan Effect, featuring Suresh Gopi, Geethu Mohandas and Biju Menon.
