The latest report has suggested that the Malayalam film Best Actor starring superstar Mammootty has got postponed to October 15. Earlier, the film was scheduled to have a Ramzan release on September 10.

The fashion photographer-turned director Martin Prakkat is directing Best Actor. However, Mammootty fans can watch another film of the actor, Pranchiyettan and The Saint, which is directed by Renjith. The film will be releasing during Ramzan.

Mammootty essays the role of a rice merchant Francis (Pranchiyettan) from Trichur in the Pranchiyettan and The Saint. Innocent Vincent will be playing the saint in the movie, which starts its shooting in July, first week, in Trichur.

Renowned Kannada actress Shruthi Ramakrishnan is the heroine of Mammootty in Best Actor. She will be seen as music teacher Savithri, wife of Mohan (Mammootty). The Superstar plays a UP school teacher who wants to be a film actor.

Under the banner of Big Screen, the film is being produced by Mammootty"s close friends Anto Joseph and Naushad.

The film also stars Salim Kumar, Vinayagan, Lal, Nedumudi Venu and Suraj Venjaranmoodu. The camera has been handled by Ajay Vincent, Bijibal is composing the music and Don Max is the editor of the movie. Play House will be distributing the movie.

However, one thing is for sure, whenever the film releases, there will be no dearth of audiences because Mammootty alone can draw in thousands of his fans!
