Mammootty geared up for his bilingual Shikari

Mammootty, the legendary actor who has done more than 300 movies in his career of around two decades, was last seen in Pokkiri Raja. The actor who was awarded the Padma Shri by the Indian Government has done minstream and parallel cinema and been successful in both. There are very few actors who can be spoken of with esteem as much as Mammootty.

Mammootty, the Malayalam superstar, had first given a taste of his acting to his Kannada audiences in the Kannada movie, Love, in 2005. Now the maestro is ready to shine on the Kannada screen once again with Shikari. Abhay Sinha is going to direct the film for which he himself has written the story and screenplay.

A source told Sampurn Wire that the movie is about the pre-independence and post independence conditions in India. Mammootty is most likely going to play a double role in the movie, one of a software geek and the other of a zealous freedom fighter.

The film, produced by K Manju, is a bilingual movie – a combination of Kannada and Malayalam. National Award winner Anmol Bhave is to give music to the movie. According to some sources, the Malayalam dialogues are going to be written by Mammootty himself. His fans are definitely going to awaite the release of this flick.
