Mammootty's film with Shaji slated for Christmas

Malayalam megastar Mammootty has allotted dates to director Shaji Kailash for his next movie, which is aimed for release this Christmas.

The director"s last film with Mammotty titled Drona was a big flop at the Box Office. It was released in January 2010 with mixed reviews from critics. However, this failure has not discouraged Mammootty to sign another film with the director. Aroma International is producing the film and is aiming for release this Christmas. It is likely to start shooting by mid October.

Shaji's recent films like Alibhai, Sound of Boot, Time and Drona failed at the box office. So, he will definitely try his best to make this Mammootty starrer a big hit and win back his lost glory.

In the meantime, Mammootty's films Best of Luck by M A Nishad and Best Actor by Martin Prakkat will be released before Shaji directed movie. He is currently busy shooting for his first Kannada film titled Shikaari.
