More youngsters should join the army: Mohanlal

Superstar Mohanlal, who underwent military training for three days at the Kannur battalion of the Territorial Army, is proud that he could serve his country as an actor as well as a soldier.

At a press conference, he stated that he saw his post as Lieutenant Colonel as an opportunity to understand the functioning of the Army. He explains that common men are given army training because in the face of a disaster, the Territorial Army is summoned. The actor also expressed the need to have more youngsters join the army. He will be undergoing some more training in the coming months.
