Parthiban to work in Mollywood again

Actor – director Parthiban, who is a very popular face in Kollywood will start work on a Mollywood project in the near future. According to reports circulating in the media, Parthiban will begin work on the Malayalam film Melvilasam, which is based on a work by Soorya Krishnamoorthy. For the uninitiated, Soorya Krishnamoorthy is one of the most distinguished author and theater artistes of our country.

'Melvilasam" is Parthiban"s second film for the Malayalam film industry, the first being Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka. According to reports, the Soorya Krishnamoorthy work will be directed by a first time director Madhavan Ramadasan. In a statement given to the media, the producers of Parthiban"s second Mollywood venture have confirmed that there will be no female lead in the upcoming Malayalam project, therefore Melvilasam will be a male-centric movie.

Though Parthiban will be seen in one of the most important roles in the movie, he is not the lead actor of Melvilasam. And interestingly, the actor also does not have any dialogues to mouth in the upcoming film. While Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi plays the main lead, Parthiban will be seen in the role of a civilian who gets involved in a legal case.
