Parvathy Omanakuttan enters Kollywood

Parvathy Omanakuttan, the former Miss India World 2008 and the first runner up in Miss World 2008, is all set to enter the film industry. She will play the female lead in the upcoming Tamil movie Uma Maheswaram.

New comer Mani is playing the hero in the film. Directed by Nithin Ramakrishna, the movie is basically love story. Prakash Raj will be seen in a prominent role in the film. The pooja of the film was held yesterday at Chennai AVM studios. Noted director K Viswanath was the chief guest for the function. Parvathy's presence in the function was an added attraction.

Her Hindi film United Six is under post production and her Malayalam film Madan Kolli is under filming.
