Sarath Kumar in Malayalam film Metro

Tamil star Sarath Kumar has been signed again for another Malayalam movie titled Metro. He has proved his worth in Mollywood by playing the role of Edachena Kunkkan in megahit movie Pazhassi Raja.

Sarath Kumar even earned the Asianet Special Honour Jury Award for his performance in the Malayalam movie Pazhassi Raja. But the strange fact is that he has not yet received any offer to play full length roles in Mollywood. His next two Malayalam releases will also feature him in important supporting roles. Both the films are set to release by the end of this year.

However, now things have changed with this new Malayalam movie Metro, in which he will be seen in a full length role. The superstar has also allotted time and date for the movie. He will be playing an upright police officer in Metro.

Debutant director Vyasan Edavanakakd, who is said to be a close confidante of Malayalam movie star Dileep, will be directing the movie. Dileep will be producing it under the banner of Grand Productions. Five youngsters will be seen in other pivotal roles in this film, which is said to be a thriller. It is still in the scripting stage.
