Shruti Hassan has no plan to enter Mollywood

A recent report suggested that Shruti Hassan might make her debut in Malayalam films. However, the 24-year-old actress has denied the reports, saying that she has no such plans as of now.

The versatile celebrity, who acts, sings and plays music, cleared the air saying that she is not going to do any Malayalam film in near future. She however said that she is willing to work in different languages.

It was earlier reported that renowned director T K Rajeevkumar, who happens to be a close friend of Shruti"s father superstar Kamal Hassan, has approached Kamal with his new project titled Thatsamayam Oru Penkutty. Kamal had reportedly asked his daughter to consider the movie as her launch pad in Mollywood.

Everyone was thinking that Shruti might follow the footsteps of her father, who has recently made his comeback to Malayalam films after so many years. But this statement from the actress has made it clear that her Mollywood fans will have to wait.

Shruthi Hassan is currently busy shooting for 7 Aum Arivu, which is her debut Tamil film. She is playing the lead role opposite Surya.
