Vijay in Bodyguard Tamil remake

After giving a super hit with Friends, Tamil actor Vijay will be doing another film with Siddique. This time, it will be Siddique"s Malayalam film, Bodyguard"s remake where Vijay will play the lead.

Nayantara and Prabhu Deva told Vijay about Bodyguard while it was still being made. That is when Vijay expressed his desire to remake the film. Once the film was completed, Siddique held a special screening in Chennai for Vijay. The actor loved the film and was keen on remaking it. The remake will start off once the release and promotional activities of the Malayalam version finish.
