Yesudas sings for his son Vijay!

As we all know, Vijay Yesudas is all set to make his debut in acting with the movie Avan. Directed by debutante director Nandan Kaavil, the film also stars actor Bala. Debutant Anil Gopalan is composing music for the film.

But the interesting part is that popular singer Dr K J Yesudas will be crooning for his son in the film. Isn't that amazing? Vijay plays the role of a Mumbai based singer in the film, who comes to South for a chance to sing in films. He does not have too much of melodrama to play in the movie and this makes him very happy.

Vijay considers it as an honour that his appa is singing for him in the film and that he is very grateful to its director for this wonderful opportunity. He himself has sung two songs in the film. Apart from this, Vijay will also appear in the Tamil version of 'Music Ka Muqabla'.
