Mammootty
encouraged

to
do

it
has
a
very
complex
storyline,

intrigue

it

a
thrilling
experience
for

The
story
of
1993
Bombay

12
revolves
around
Sanathana
Bhat
(Mammootty),
a
Hindu
priest
who
converts
to
Islam
and
becomes
Sameer.
He
gets
married
to
Abida
(Roma),
a
young
Muslim
woman
from
a
village
in
Kerala.
Sameer
and
Abida
have
premonitions
about
the
bomb
blasts,
which
change
the
course
of
their
lives
forever.
The
movie
is
being
shot
in
Coimbatore,
Mumbai,
Hyderabad
and
various
parts
of
Kerala
and
Rajasthan.
Along
with
Mammootty,
Roma,
Krishna,
Shaari,
Lal
and
Babydiya
are
also
playing
important
roles
in
it.
Afsal
Yusuf
has
composed
music
for
Rafeeq
Ahmed's
lyrics,
while
Vipin
Mohan
is
handling
the
camera.
