Instead of Casanova, Dr Love releasing this Onam

Maxlab Cinemas and Entertainments (P) Ltd. has delayed the release of Mohanlal starrer Malayalam movie Casanova, which was earlier slated to release this Onam. Now, the Ernakulam-based distribution company has planned to release the movie Dr. Love in place of Casanova. With this postponement, Maxlab has once again disappointed Mohanlal fans.

According to sources, Maxlab has released an official statement about the postponing the movie Casanova. The company says that the Roshan Andrews directed film is still in the shooting stage and it needs more time to complete its production works. So the company has decided to go ahead with the movie Dr. Love this Onam.

Dr. Love, which started its shooting in May, has been directed by debutant K Biju. The movie is a romantic entertainer filled with comedy and some sentiment. Kunchacko Boban is said to be playing the hero, while Bhavana reprises the role of heroine. It is reported that Kunchacko will appear in a new get-up in this movie.

However, Casanova was launched on January 24, 2009 and its production is said to have been delayed due to the shooting of other movies of Mohanlal. The film has reportedly been shot in Kerala, Bangkok and Dubai. Currently, the film unit is shooting the climax of the film in Dubai.
