Christian Brothers releasing in 170 theatres on 18th March

Malayalam movie Christian Brothers, which has recently got a UA certificate from the Censor Board, is now all set to release on March 18. The duration of the movie is 2 hours 55 minutes. The movie will hit nearly 170 screens across Kerala, Chennai, Hyderabad and in few other states of India.

Christian Brothers is one among the most of expected movies of 2011. It is multi-starrer film and South Indian superstars like Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Sharath Kumar, Lakshmi Rai, Kavya Madhavan, Kaniha and Lakshmi Gopalasamy are acting in the film, which has been scripted by Udayakrishna-Siby K. Thomas duo. It deals with the story of Palomattathu Varghese Mappila and his family.

Varghese Mappila (Saikumar) is a retired captain of Indian Army and wealthy. He has two sons Christy (Mohanlal) and Joby (Dileep). Christy working in Mumbai and getting high amount as remuneration. His brother Joby goes abroad to study theology. But both falls out of their track, which disappoints Varghese and makes him turn his attention to his daughters. There are several twists and turns that the story goes through before it unveils the truth.

Christian Brothers has been directed by Joshiy and produced by AV Anoop and Maha Subair. Varnachithra Big Screen is the distributor of the film. Deepak Dev has scored music, while Anil Nair handled the camera work for it. The movie has been made with a whopping budget of Rs. 15 crores.
