K Bhagyaraj forays into Malayalam with Mr. Marumakan

Veteran Tamil director-producer K Bhagyaraj is all set to make his debut in Malayalam films. He is entering Mollywood neither as director nor as producer, but as an actor. He will appear important role in director Sandhya Mohan's upcoming movie Mr. Marumakan, which stars Dileep in the lead.

Mr. Marumakan is the second film of Sandhya Mohan, who has earlier worked as director for the movie Kilukkam Kilukilukkam. Bhagyaraj will essay the role of Dileep's father-in-law in this film, while another Tamil actress Roja will play his wife. The selection of other cast is yet to be done.

Currently, Dileep is busy with the shooting for director Madhu Kaithapram's film Orma Mathram. And he will wrap all its work very soon. Meanwhile, the selection of other cast and crew will also done. According to the industry sources, the film Mr. Marumakan is expected to start rolling in February.

However, it should be recalled here that Bhagyaraj's wife Poornima has already forayed into Malayalam with the movie Manjil Virinja Pookkal. His daughter Sharanya has starred alongside Mohanlal in film Photographer and his son Shanthanu entered Mollywood with Mohanlal's Angel John. he is the last member from his family to star in Malayalam film.
