Machan
Varghese
died
of
cancer
at
Baby
Memorial
Hospital
in
Kozhikode
on
Thursday.
The
50-year-old
comedian
was
undergoing
treatment
for
prostate
cancer
at
the
hospital
from
the
past
three
months.
However,
the
actor
is
survived
by
his
wife
Elsee,
son
Robichan
and
daughter
Rinsu.
The
comedian's
health
condition
worsened
four
days.
So
he
was
put
on
ventilator.
The
doctors
attempted
a
dialysis,
but
his
health
condition
did
not
support
the
process.
He
breathed
his
last
at
around
4.15
pm
yesterday.
His
body
was
taken
to
his
native
village
for
funeral.
Machaan
Varghese
was
a
native
of
Elamakkara
in
Kochi.
He
started
his
career
as
a
mimicry
artiste
and
this
mimicry
paved
him
way
to
enter
the
film
industry.
He
acted
in
several
films
in
his
career
spanning
two
decades.
He
entertained
the
viewers
with
his
unique
body
language
and
dialogue
rendering.
