awards

in
the
South
Indian
film
industry.
According
to
reports
in
the
media,
Manoj
K
Jayan
has
been
declared
the
winner
of
this
year"s
Bharat
Murali
Award,
which
is
named
after
very
popular
Mollywood
star
Murali.
The
Bharat
Murali
Award
was
first
started
by
Kanjaveli
AKG
Kalakendram
and
Bharat
Murali
Smaraka
Samithi.
The
Award
has
always
tried
to
praise
the
best
performer
in
South
Indian
cinema
over
the
years.
In
a
statement
to
the
media,
the
organizers
of
the
Bharat
Murali
Award
have
announced
that
it
is
the
actor"s
performance
in
the
2009
Malayalam
movie
Pazhassi
Raja,
which
has
won
Manoj
K
Jayan,
the
Bharat
Murali
Award
of
2011.
Manoj
has
been
a
popular
face
of
several
Malayalam,
Telugu
and
Tamil
films
in
a
career
spanning
more
than
two
decades.
While
commercial
success
has
never
been
very
difficult
for
him
to
achieve,
critical
acclamation
has
also
come
in
his
way.

the
Samithi

that
they
loved
the
character
of
Thalakkal
Chanthu

chose
the
actor
as

winner
of
the
Bharat
Murali
Award.
