Agashe,
who
was
director
of
the
Film
and
Television
Institute
of
India
(FTII)
in
Pune,
is
now
debuting
in
Malayalam
through
director
Shaji
Kailas'
movie
The
King
And
The
Commissioner.
The
theatre
artiste
is
all
excited
to
work
with
Malayalam
superstar
Mammootty
in
the
film.
In
an
interview
with
Rediff,
Mohan
Agashe
has
revealed
that
he
had
met
Mammootty
once
during
the
shooting
of
Jabbar
Patel's
Dr
Babasaheb
Ambedkar
and
it
was
he
who
suggested
his
name
for
The
King
And
The
Commissioner.
He
considered
it
a
good
opportunity
and
accepted
the
offer.
Mohan
Agashe
is
playing
a
small
role
in
the
movie
The
King
And
The
Commissioner.
He
has
already
started
shooting
for
his
role.
Talking
about
the
shooting,
Mohan
says,
“The
language
is
a
bit
tough
but
the
atmosphere
is
absolutely
great.
People
are
so
relaxed
and
everyone
seems
to
know
their
job
very
well.
I
am
enjoying
the
experience."
However,
Mohan
Agashe
is
thrilled
about
his
debut
Malayalam
film.
When
asked
about
doing
more
Malayalam
movies,
he
says,
“Of
course.
It
was
great
shooting
for
The
King
And
The
Commissioner
and
I
hope
to
do
more
films
here
if
I
get
some
good
roles."
