Mohanlal's cameo role in Sneham + Ishtam = Amma

Superstar Mohanlal is reportedly playing a cameo role in director Jayachandran Ayilara's movie Sneham + Ishtam = Amma. According to sources, the Malayalam actor has agreed to play a Ghazal singer in the debut directorial venture of Jayachandran. He is said to have participated in a photo shoot for the film recently.

As its name suggests, Sneham + Ishtam = Amma is about the deep bonding and love between a mother and son. Jayachandran Ayilara, who is a former associate of late director Bharathan, has chosen model Shaheen, who has featured in a few music albums, as the hero for his first film. Actress Revathy is making a comeback as heroine to Malayalam cinema through this movie.

Sneham + Ishtam = Amma is produced by Bharath Samuel under the banner of Bharath Creations. Another specialty of the film is that Oscar winner Resul Pookutty is making his acting debut with it. Actress Vandana and Traffic fame Namitha are said to be appearing as heroines in the film, which will start shooting in the third week of July in Thiruvananthapuram.
