Mohanlal's Casanova to be a big Onam release

Malayalam actor Mohanlal's much-awaited movie Casanova is slated to release on August 31. The film has been directed by Rosshan Andrews and produced by Dr CJ Roy. Max Lab is reportedly distributing the movie in Kerala. According to sources, this movie will be a big Onam release of 2011.

The movie is all about a playboy named Casanova, who owns the Casanova"s Eternal Spring, an international chain of flower boutiques. How four enterprising young criminals use him to make quick money forms the story. Mohanlal is playing Casanova, while Shreya Saran, Lakshmi Rai, Sanjana, Roma, Jagathy Sreekumar and Lalu Alex are in other important roles.

Casanova was launched on January 24, 2009 and its production is said to have been delayed due to the shooting of other movie of Mohanlal. The film has reportedly been shot in Kerala, Bangkok and Dubai. Currently, the film unit is shooting the climax of the film in Dubai. However, three musicians Gopi Sundar, Alphonse Joseph and Gauri are scoring music for it.
