Mohanlal releases book on veteran Madhu

Superstar Mohanlal, on Tuesday released a book on the life of veteran Malayalam actor Madhu, titled 'Vellithirayude Madhavapurnima' and its English version 'A Darling lover of Silverscreen'. The books were released in a function as part of 16th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK 2011) in Thiruvanathapuram on December 13th.

The books were released by superstar Mohanlal by handing over it to Bollywood actress Shehnaz Anand, who acted with Madhu in his first Hindi film Saat Hindustani in 1969. Incidentally, Amitabh Bachchan too acted in that movie.

After releasing the book said, Mohanlal said, “Madhu was an actor who has to be honoured with national recognition."

The book 'Vellithirayude Madhavapurnima' in Malayalam was written by Vinil Malayilkada and it was translated into English by Sathrugnan.
