now
ready
for
release.
Earlier,
the
film
was
slated
for
a
release
on
9
March
2011.
But
it
was
reported
that
the
movie
had
to
be
postponed
for
twice
due
to
some
financial
problem.
Now,
it
is
set
to
hit
the
screens
on
23rd
April.
City
of
God
has
been
directed
by
Lijo
Jose
Pellissery
and
produced
by
by
Anil
Mathew.
Along
with
Prithviraj
and
Indrajith,
Parvathi
Menon,
Swetha
Menon,
Rima
Kallingal,
Priyanka
and
Rajeev
Pillai
are
also
playing
the
important
roles
in
the
film.
Babu
Janardhanan
has
written
the
story
for
the
film
City
of
God.
The
story
is
divided
into
four
narratives,
each
having
a
different
perspective
on
the
city
of
Cochin.
It
is
all
about
three
youngsters,
whose
lives
crisscross
and
intersect
as
they
go
about
the
business
of
life.
