Prithviraj-Supriya host reception for film fraternity

Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran and his wife Supriya Menon, who got married at a low-key profile wedding ceremony in Palakkat on April 25, hosted a grand reception party to the Indian film fraternity. The reception was held at Hotel Le Meridian in Kochi on Sunday, May 1 and several big stars made it to the occasion.

Earlier, Prithviraj's mother Mallika Sukumaran had announced that there will be two reception parties – one for relatives and another for the film fraternity. Following the plan, Prithvi and Supriya held a reception party for their colleagues on Sunday. The biggest surprise on the occasion was that Dileep, who is said to have enemity with Prithvi, attended the function with his wife Manju Warrier and daughter.

Tamil actors Prakash Raj, Bhagyaraj and his actress-wife Poornima Jayaram also attended the reception. But Malayalam superstars like Mohanlal, Mammootty and Suresh Gopi were absent on the occasion. Mallika Sukumaran, Prithvi's elder brother Indrajith and his wife Poornima were seen welcoming the guests.
