Roma Asrani replaces Mamtha Mohandas in Mohabbath

Actress Roma Asrani has replaced Malayalam babe Mamta Mohandas in the movie Mohabbath, which is being directed by East Coast Vijayan. Earlier, Mamta was roped in to play a cameo in the upcoming film. But she has opted out from the project stating her date problems.

After Mamtha's walk out from Mohabbath, the movie bosses have chosen Roma for the cameo role. Recently, Roma took part in the shooting of a song along with singer Hariharan. S Balakrishan has scored music for the song for which Vayalar Sarath has penned the lyrics. Sujatha handled the choreography.

Mohabbath, which is the second directorial venture of East Coast Vijayan, is a triangle love story with Muslim background. Sidique Shameer has written story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. PC Mohanan is handling editing work, while Pradeep Rangan has taken the responsibility of makeup.

Produced by East Coast Communication, Mohabbath features Meera Jasmine in the central character. Munna and Anand Michael are playing the male leads. Nedumudivenu, Jagathi sreekumar, Salimkumar, Asokan, Suresh Krishna, Devan, P Sreekumar, Jafar idukki, Sivaji guruvayoor, Sari, Lakshmipriya, Premkumar are in other cast.
