Malayalam
filmmaker
Shafi
is
now
teaming
up
again
with
superstar
Mammootty
in
his
upcoming
movie
titled
Venicile
Vyapari,
which
is
produced
by
Murali
Films.
The
director-actor
duo
will
start
shooting
for
the
film
from
July.
The
movie
is
expected
to
hit
the
screens
across
the
state
in
October.
Cycle
and
Classmate
fame
James
Albert
has
penned
the
screenplay
for
Venicile
Vyapari.
The
title
of
the
movie
has
been
inspired
by
Shakespearian
play
'Merchant
of
Venice'.
The
story
happens
in
Alleppey,
which
is
known
as
the
Venice
of
East.
So
Shafi
has
found
this
title
apt
for
the
story.
Director
Shafi
has
given
two
consecutive
hits
like
Marykkundoru
Kunjadu
and
Makeup
Man.
Now,
he
is
all
excited
to
work
with
Mammootty
again
in
his
new
film.
He
says
that
Venicile
Vyapari
will
have
a
heart
touching
story
and
it
will
be
a
rollicking
comedy
entertainer.
However,
Shafi
has
already
worked
with
actor
Mammootty
in
a
few
films
and
proved
successful.
They
first
teamed
up
for
the
film
Thommanum
Makkalum
in
2005
and
it
was
super
hit
at
the
Box
Office.
Later,
they
worked
together
in
films
like
Mayavi
in
2007
and
Chattambinadu
in
2009.
These
two
films
were
also
good
money
spinners.
