'Baby' Shalini Ajith back with badminton

Shalini Ajith Kumar or baby Shalini, as she is still fondly known in Kerala is a household name. When it comes to Malluwood, Shalini has acted with almost all the leading actors of 1980's as a child artiste. Mammootty, Mohanlal, Balachandra Menon...you name it and she has done it.

Shalini kept up the good work even after she grew up. Aniyathi Pravu, Kaliyoonjal, Nakshathra Tharattu, Niram are few of the several films which fetched Shalini good reviews. However, she soon married Tamil actor Ajith and left movies.

However, Shalini is now making her presence felt in the sport of Badminton. Shalini, who has always been a good badminton player since her childhood will be seen playing badminton in professional circuit soon. Shalini was recently seen in the inter district badminton championship held at Shivakasi. The actress is lucky that she is getting ample support from her actor husband Ajith.
