Shwetha Menon gearing up for post-marriage innings

Actress Shwetha Menon, who tied the knot with Sreevalsan J Menon in June, is now gearing up for her post-marriage innings. The Malayali star has reportedly signed two projects in South Indian languages. She will play female lead in movies Actress in Malayalam and another film Aravaan in Tamil.

Malayalam movie Actress, which is being directed by Mohana Krishnan, revolves around the story of a youngster, who hopes to make it big as an actor in tinsel town and ultimately becomes an actress. Shwetha Menon is playing a powerful role, while Metro fame Bhagath Manuel essays the role male lead.

Shwetha Menon, who was last seen in Naan Avan Illai 2 in Tamil, is returning to Kollywood through director Vasanthabalan's upcoming movie Aravaan. She is reprising a crucial and controversial role in the movie. Sources say that she is very happy about bagging a meaty character in it.

However, Shwetha Menon's recent releases like Rathinirvedam and Salt N Pepper have done very well at the collection centre and she has also received lots of accolades for her performance in them. Many were keeping their fingers crossed on her comeback to acting. Now, they are all excited to see her on-screen again.
