Sonia Agarwal denies acting in Mammootty's Doubles

Tamil actress Sonia Agarwal has reportedly laughed off the reports about her appearance in Malayalam movie Doubles, which stars Superstar Mammootty in the lead role. A couple of weeks ago, it was reported that the actress would debut in Malayalam with a cameo in a song of Sohan Roy directed film.

Now, sources claim that Sonia Aggarwal was surprised by such rumours in the media. Director Sohan had approached her for an item song in Mammootty's movie Doubles. But she is said to have turned down the offer politely due to her personal reasons. She claims that reports about her debut in Malayalam are baseless.

However, Sonia started her acting career with a Telugu movie and she is currently busy with the shooting of Tamil movie Vaanam, in which she is essaying the role of Prakash Raj's wife. The actress, who was married to Tamil filmmaker Selvaraghavan and got divorced from him in 2010, will complete one year as a single on 12th March.
