Suresh Gopi playing war reporter in his next

Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi, who is currently busy with films like Home Science, Melvilasam, King 2 and Utsava Kanavu, has recently signed another project. His latest movie, which is being directed by Ashok R Nath, has been titled Ven Shankh Pol. He is said to be playing a war reporter in the flick.

The film was earlier titled Ekadashi, but it has been recently changed to Ven Shankh Pol. Suresh Gopi plays journalist Nandan, a man who suffers from a terminal illness. Jyothirmayi is reprising the role of his wife, while Meera Nandhan appears as his sister. Anoop Menon, Manoj K Jayan, Lalu Alex, Chembil Ashokan and Sukumari are in the supporting cast.

Ven Shankh Pol happens to be the third directorial venture of National award winning director Ashok R Nath. Anil Mukhathala has penned the script for the movie, which has been produced by Sanal Thottam under the banner of New TV. The movie is said to have already completed its shooting.
